This design features a watercolor painting by the German artist Andreas Achenbach (1815–1910), who was associated with the Romantic movement and the Düsseldorf School of art. It shows a lone male figure who is hiking deep in the wilderness of a remote German woodland. The hiker is standing beside a river that is raging with fast-moving water. The sky is ominous with dark clouds, suggesting that a storm may soon be coming. The image celebrates the smallness of one man striving against the forces of nature. The original artwork was painted by Andreas Achenbach in 1841.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
