The highway connected Chicago to Los Angeles through eight states (including Illinois and California). The oval sticker is comprised of a photograph of a well house wall along a walkable segment of Route 66 in Parks, AZ as the background and the two emblems are from a photograph of the Arizona Historic US Route 66 road sign.
