My friend DS asked me to make Holiday Cards with Southwestern US themes. He once lived in New Mexico, where luminaries are used during the Holidays. I thought I would make doorways accompanied by paper luminaries during the Festival of Lights. I imagine the crisp evening air, the peppery looking sky with the stars shining bright, and the typical desert plants being highlighted by the lights coming from the luminaries...
