This is my Finnish grandmother's recipe for Panukakku (also known as Kropsua) that has stood the test of time as a family favourite. My mother continued the tradition by serving this pancake on Christmas mornings. I added it to my own holiday repertoire some years ago. Personalise the recipe card with a holiday greeting and your personal or family signature on the front. On back of the card, I've included a "notes" section for handwriting a longer holiday greeting... or comments and changes you make for the recipe itself.
