Carl Holsøe - Salon interieur with a woman, c. 1900 Carl Vilhelm Holsøe (1863-1935) was a Danish painter that painted in a similiar style as Vilhelm Hammershøi. More in Swedish: Holsøe var mycket influenza av Vilhelm Hammershøi. I likhet med honom målade han mestadels interiörer med gamla möbler och enstaka figurer. Hans torra, delikata pensel tolkar med sällsynt målerisk finhet de blida harmonierna i lugna tysta rum.
