The Greenstone Pounamu Pikorua Twist is significant in Aotearoa New Zealand. The shape has a special meaning in NZ, in the Māori and Kiwi culture, representing the intertwining and connecting of friends, lovers, family, cultures, lives, and whānau. Pounamu is only found in the South Island New Zealand, Te Waipounamu Aotearoa, and customarily is given as a gift to another. This was purchased as part of a 40th Birthday present for my nephew who is going to Vegas. It is made of high quality, very study and we decided only to put his name on the back of the tag, but you can add a full address if you so wish.
