As it emerges from the sand...it now has to make the brave and dangerous journey across the shore to the ocean....threatened by various predators along the way. Each baby turtle that makes it to the ocean is a miracle. That's how their journey begins. The Honu symbolises survival, navigation, independence, wisdom, patience, flow, sacrifice, bravery, strength, trust, and miracles.
