Honu Sea Turtle Hawaiian Aloha - Blue Tie

Periwinkle blue, sky blue, navy and royal blue colorway. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for this primitive honu (turtle) design used in the Polynesian & Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts & pareaus for traditional hula dancers. We took our turtle, distressed him, as he would appear when printed on tapa cloth, and allowed him to swim allover the ocean with his many friends. This pattern is featured on mens’s neckties, bandanas, phone cases, laptop sleeves, home furnishings and more.
