Honu Sea Turtle Hawaiian Relax Reversible BeachBag Tote Bag
Natural and tonal indigo colorway. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for this primitive honu (turtle) design used in the Polynesian and Hawaiian cultures. We took our turtle, distressed him, as he would appear when printed on tapa cloth and put the design on a faux bark cloth, which is common the Aloha shirts and Hawaiian decorative fabrics. The front of our design says "Relax you’re at the beach”. The back focuses on our turtle and we allowed him to swim allover the ocean with his many friends creating a camo type pattern.

The tote bag is smashing! It feels very sturdy and well made. A great size, can fit all your bits and pieces and the handles are strong, but long enough to be able to sling over your shoulder. Perfect for out and about! Absolutely love it! Have to say, the print is excellent! I should know, I painted the original painting. I ordered the bag to see how well my painting translated into a bag and I am wowed! Some pics of my original painting and the bag next to it, fabulous print job!
