Horses of the Four Seasons is a pastel painting by Kim McElroy. The composition was inspired by a client commission of the concept of four horses representing each season. The concept evolved to include One Tree to show the changing seasons. A druidic symbol called Awen represents poetic and artistic inspiration, while a barred owl presides over the whirling energy with stillness and wisdom.
