The print for this VERY neato puzzle came from a 19th century collection of colour prints depicting motifs from a variety of eras and regions. It was found on the page entitled ‘Renaissance’. So someone circa AD 1400 had the bright idea to give a bird a human face. Clever. Plus it looks kinda neato on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including jigsaw puzzles. Wanna see more old?
