As much as humans have their particular interests, such as certain large groups of buildings intersected by roadways, foodstuffs or teams of men who wear ridiculous costumes and chase balls around a rectangle of grass, robots also hold certain things close to their cold, metal hearts. In this case, our ironic killer robot chum just loves killing all humans. This is a great design for fans of ironic humour, largely because the killer robot is a retro 1950s clockwork one. It's also a good design for science fiction fans who have a sense of humour, which most of them do, or they wouldn't be able to put up with their favourite shows being cancelled all the time.
