The Children's Health Insurance Program Re authorisation Act of 2009 was signed into law on February 4, 2009. The Act dramatically increases the Federal excise taxes on tobacco products and diverts those funds (theoretically) to insure 11 million kids. Now, I love children as much as the next guy, but is it really only the responsibility of smokers to insure these kids? So, my fellow Americans. Light up and, smoke with you heads held high, because the children need this more than we do!
