Imperfect white fractal on black space, knitted tapestry

I tried to 'play' with making fractal effect on some images, this was a 'old image of merrry christmas' of that I also modified, after a few dozens of attempts rotating the image, pulling it down, turning it back, deleting and starting over, and new edition with filter... I managed to transform it into a drawing - without much sense - that I liked, behold, in moments and some parts it looked like a badly woven spider web, knitted or interlaced with small chains.... Another a star?
