"In Fairyland: An Elfin Dance," was created by the Victorian painter & illustrator Richard Doyle (1824-1883). Doyle made many illustrations about the world of fairies. This particular watercolor is his masterpiece. ~Doyle was also a noteable illustrator. He joined the staff of Punch Magazine was he was just 19 years old, and he stayed with them for 7 years.
