In Imitation of Xu Wei's Flowers No.5 Postcard

Chen Banding is known for his flower and bird paintings. Cultivated by traditional Chinese art, he masters at using black ink and water to depict the various colours of flowers, leaves, and branches. This branch is in a full blossom; the claw-like leaves are stretching to protect the gentle flowers near by. Light-coloured flowers with a fine brushwork, flower stamen is even visible. The artist chose the most blossom and most crooked braches while expressed an exellent master piece.
