Independant Ants Postcard

The minimalist art on this postcard is meant to offer encouragement to people who are walking their own path in life. Marching to the beat of their own drum. Looking for their people. Trying to find where they belong because they don't fit in with the community they were born into. Communities have a way of expecting a certain amount of conformity. When that conformity contradicts who you are, then staying becomes painful. Many people leave and look for someplace where they will be happier. This process is depicted here as a column of ants all marching in the same direction. Except for one ant that is wandering by itself in the opposite direction. And another ant in the column that is turning towards it. Share this with the outsiders, misfits and rebels in your life. Or the people that need some encouragement to do their own thing. This version has the message: "I was looking for a different beat to march to" on the front, and "instead I learned how to dance" on the back.
