International Day of Peace. 21 September is set aside to consider “not only is the absence of conflict, but also requires a positive, dynamic participatory process where dialogue is encouraged and conflicts are solved in a spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.” The aim os to create a more peaceful world encouraging governments to take actions to achieve peace and prosperity for all. Activities can include education to the arts, social justice to sports, health to the environment, neighbourhood issues to service for others, there are many ways to participate in Peace Day.
