Irises By Vincent Van Gogh Thermal Tumbler
Van Gogh voluntarily checked himself into an asylum in France in 1889 and there painted Irises, taking inspiration from the gardens all around him.He died in 1890,but not before creating almost 130 paintings during his stay there.
Van Gogh’s brother Theo, submitted Irises to the annual exhibition of The Societe Des Artistes Independants and wrote to Van Gogh saying ‘The Irises are a beautiful study full of air and life’
In 1987,Irises became the most expensive painting ever sold, setting a record which stood for two and a half years.Irises was re-sold in 1990 to the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles

It's a great tumbler, keeps my coffee warm for ages! Really well, I was happy with how the marble effect turned out on the white!

The tumbler was bought as a gift so can't say how efficient it will be as an item, but a good Grandad present. Pictures were originally from a mobile phone so the reproduced quality is very good
