'Iterate Imagery' is my catch phrase to describe 'Fractal Art' images. Without going into very much of the science involved, Iterate is a term used to describe something which is repetitive, meaning it is done again, and again. Fractal Mathematics is all about repetition, or 'Iteration'. The images I create, as anyone working with fractals does, are complex formulas that repeat themselves, and interact with other formulas (also iterating) in order to produce these wonderful images. While programming languages are strongly mathematically based, and are the basis for any digital art program, with fractals, the mathematics is actually expressed as the image seen.
