The Back states that Jacob Arminius trained under Theodore Beza (who is widely considered the closest and truest theological allies and friends of John Calvin - it was Theodore Beza who lent his theological weight behind the views of Jacob Arminius saying "...let it be known to you that from the time Arminius returned to us from Basel, his life and learning both have so approved themselves to us, that we hope the best of him in every respect...") the back then makes the correct statement that Jacob Arminius sated Calvinism taught God was the Author of Sin - and also that he realised that Calvinism was not very biblical, so he created a more biblical Systematic Theology.
