Taken from an original painting by award-winning watercolor artist, Carolyn Marshall Wright; based on a photo taken by author Lori Smith, during research for her book, A Walk with Jane Austen. The quote on the back is from Fanny in Mansfield Park: " . . . to sit in the shade on a fine day, and look upon verdure, is the most perfect refreshment."

    Good quality mug, it was the largest bone china mug that we could find that was customisable. So here is the plea make bigger bone china mugs. The user interface to upload images was really poor, but as I said the mug is excelent. Image could be a bit sharper, but it was not really noticeable unless you study the picture. I would definately buy again.
