Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (30 April 1839 – 9 June 1892)He is widely recognised as the last great master of Ukiyo-e, a type of Japanese woodblock printing. He is additionally regarded as one of the form's greatest innovators. His career spanned two eras – the last years of feudal Japan, and the first years of modern Japan following the Meiji Restoration. My recipient loved this jigsaw, they found it a challenge at 1000 pieces, their only comment was the picture on the box was very small and made it tricky to follow as a guide. Printing as ever with Zazzle was great no issues.
