    The Mejiro as it is known in Japan was introduced to Hawaii in 1927. It has been able to adapt very well and can be found from the wettest summits to the driest plains on the islands. They are able to exist on a variety of food sources. They love the Lehua Flower Blossoms on the Ohia Trees. You can recognise them by the white around their eyes. They are small, fast green birds.
