Jesus Christ (by Quentin Metsys) Medium Gift Bag

This design features a painting by the Flemish artist Quentin Matsys (1466–1530), who worked in the Early Netherlandish tradition during the period of the Northern Renaissance. It depicts Jesus Christ with a golden halo around his head. Jesus Christ is shown here with long brown hair and brown eyes; he is also bearded. He is wearing a blue shirt and a red cloak; the collar around his blue shirt appears to have Hebrew text written around the collar in golden lettering. Jesus Christ appears to be suffering but strong and composed. He has a dignity and a grace. The original artwork was painted in 1529.
