The most important content on this composer calendar are 12 different signatures of the Thomas Cantor Johann Sebastian Bach. 14 artists have been participating over a time of 300 years: 13 painters and the Royal Polish and Electoral Court Composer. Every monthly sheet is decorated with a different signature and – of course – a different portrait of Bach or a situation with Bach. Originally these portraits were created by 12 painters, the first portrait even before Bach died in 1750. In the third millennium, a young artist created all paintings based on those originals and now this calendar is in one painting style. It is a real dreamlike calendar. On every single calendar sheet, you also discover Bach’s seal, with 5 pins, it is since 2009 the official Bach seal. It is the perfect gift, a music gift, and a gift for musicians.
