This beautiful photo was taken at the John Wayne Marina on Sequim Bay in the Pacific Northwest. It was dawn and the sun had just come out over the Olympic Mountains. I liked boats. But, before I took these photos of the marina, I never really appreciated them until I watched them slide in and out of the bay or slightly bobbing in their beds. The Duke spent a lot of time here sailing his yacht “The Wild Goose”. He left this land to be developed into a marina. And what a lovely place it is. Pictures like this give me a sense of serenity and excitement about the colours. I hope it does the same for you.
