The statue was made in 1969 by the sculptor Nereo Costantini and positioned in the courtyard at the initiative of the Lions Club of Verona in 1972.
Unfortunately, the conservation conditions of Costantini's sculpture, badly affected by decades of exposure to tourists and visitors, especially as a result of the good-luck rite of touching Juliet's right breast, made it necessary to move the statue to a safer place.

These are such a cute, alternative idea! They were slightly smaller than I expected but printing was very clear and glossy! We had the design look like boarding passes due to our abroad wedding - They were a big hit with our guests! Printing was really good quality! Would definitely recommend.
