Diameter of the chrysanthemum is 2/3 of the height
In 1869, the types of chrysanthemum crests for princely families were regulated, and later the 'Imperial Family Crest Pattern' was illustrated... The crest itself was strictly defined in the 'Imperial Family Ceremonial Regulations' of 1926... The 'Imperial Family Ceremonial Regulations' were abolished in 1947.
