This Asian hybrid art brings together simplicity with a multicultural influence. The dogs has a Chinese zodiac style, the Kanji script symbol for dog (Inu) sets under the imagery and the Japanese sun was initially inspired by a Kanji Love acrylic painting by American artist, Avonelle Kelsey (1931-2009), my mother.
