Kate Greenaway, Girls in an Apple Tree, Remake Poster

This poster has my remade vintage image of two little girls in VIctorian style clothing sitting in an apple tree. The original image is by Kate Greenaway and is a story book illustration. I recolored the original image, keeping the color as close as possible to the original, just brightening and smoothing the edges. I added more apples to the tree and added some on the ground. I changed the flowers to a different flower, copying some of the original colors for consistency. I added the blue sky with white clouds and the basket on the ground. Other Kate Greenaway images are in my "Kate Greenaway" collection.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
