Happy Birthday. GWR King class 4-cylinder 4-6-0 No. 6024 King Edward I. King Edward I served for over thirty years on the Great Western Railway and the Western Region of British Railways, regularly hauling prestige express passenger services such as the Cornish Riviera Express. The restoration to mainline running condition took sixteen years, and on the 15 April 1990 King Edward resumed his career hauling revenue-earning passenger trains. This card is great fun and good quality. I loved the humour inside and on the back. There is the opportunity to change the orientation of this card from landscape to portrait, which I did. It is relatively straightforward to amend the typeface to fit the new orientation. It was well packaged with no plastic. The printing on this card is excellent.
