Korean Baby's First Birthday Card
"Dol" is a Korean tradition that celebrates the birthday of a 1 year old baby. We usually throw a very big party on the day, inviting relatives and friends. This image shows two toddlers who are dressed in Korean traditional costumes that are worn by babies on their very first birthday. In the background, you can see other objects such as sun, stones, water, clouds, a pine tree, bamboos, turtles, a crane, mountains, and herbs. These ten things are called Sip-Jang-Seng in Korean, and they stand as a symbol for eternal youth and longevity. This card is great fun and good quality. I loved the humour inside and on the back. There is the opportunity to change the orientation of this card from landscape to portrait, which I did. It is relatively straightforward to amend the typeface to fit the new orientation. It was well packaged with no plastic. The printing on this card is excellent.
