Kyuyo Hosokawa Stationery

Kyuyo Hosokawa Stationery

It was on August 15, 1747 when all the daimyo went to Edo-jo Castle to celebrate the monthly Haiga ceremony. When Munetaka HOSOKAWA, Ecchu no kami (Governor of Ecchu Province), the lord of Higo Kumamoto Domain, went to the toilet in Ohiroma, he was suddenly attacked from behind by Katsuyoshi ITAKURA, Shuri. The offender, Itakura Shuri, was hidden in the toilet, but soon he was caught and ordered to commit seppuku . On the other hand, Munetaka, who was deeply injured, died the next day. The reason why repair caused a sword attack was that the head family Katsukiyo ITAKURA, Sado no kami (Governor of Sado Province), planned to disinherit the family, because the repair had been crazy from everyday. Repair, who held a grudge against Katsukiyo, tried to kill Katsukiyo, and he killed Munetaka HOSOKAWA by mistake. For example, the family crest of the Itakura family is 'Itakura Kuyo' (Nine Days of the Itakura family) with nine Tomoe drawn, which is similar to the Kuyo-mon of the Hosokawa family. Then he accidentally attacked Munetaka. (Omitted) He was so confused that he changed his Kamon from 'Yori Kuyo' to 'Hanare Kuyo' (Nine Days Before Departure). This linen paper combined with my design and the printing is more beautiful than I expected. This was a test run which I learned a great deal on (how important it is to wear my glasses!). It feels lovely to the touch; the texture is irresistable, perfect for finely printed wedding invites and announcements. The design is exactly like the photo mock up, the colors, crispness, etc, I couldn't be happier. I recommend customers that make these from scratch to use a template for accurateness of measurements and distances, another valuable lesson learned from my test run!
