Kahena, de son vrai nom Dihya ou Damya, est une reine guerrière berbère zénète des Aurès qui combattit les Omeyyades lors de l'expansion islamique en Afrique du Nord au VIIe siècle Quinze ans après la mort du Prophète, les armées arabes abordaient l'Afrique du Nord. Pour faire face à l'envahisseur, la Kahena va organiser la résistance berbère, réaliser la difficile unité du Maghreb et infliger aux cavaliers arabes de cuisantes défaites. Elle possédait un don prophétique et était vénérée de son peuple. Elle fut l'une des premières féministes et reines guerrières de l'Histoire. Les occidentaux la comparent à Jeanne d'Arc et Ibn Khaldoun lui attribua des pouvoirs surnaturels.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
