Put the finishing touch on a package with this LABYRINTH MOSAIC 3" wide satin ribbon. * This design is a simplified version of the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France. People walk the labyrinth in meditation, for spiritual reflection. There is a sister version at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. * This image was painted by hand with watercolors to look like a stone mosaic. * Other ribbon, and matching products (wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift tags, etc.) are available in the LABYRINTH MOSAICS category of my shop. ** If you'd like to transfer this design to another product type, shape, or size, please check my shop first to see if I have one already done, because I'll have fiddled with it to make the design fit just right and it will save you the bother. It looks really great and feels to be good quality. It will be excellent for family gifts and crafting. Overall, I am extremely pleased.
By the way, it is a Family tartan, not a Clan tartan. The design was quite accurate and the colours match our kilts, but I was a little disappointed about the position chosen for the tartan. The Kilgour tartan has two very distinctive narrow yellow stripes running at right angles to each other, and one was hidden in the selvedge area so virtually invisible. (See photo.) Maybe it is better in the wider ribbons.
