Landscape winter Lairig Gartain Glen Coe Scotland Poster
I took this image from the summit of Beinn a Chrulaiste one December's morning. It was a typical Glencoe day in early winter - overcast. Beinn a Chrulaiste (2800ft) is situated between Kingshouse hotel and the “Devil’s Staircase” at the eastern end of Glencoe. For the photographer this mountain is a delight as it offers spectacular viewpoints of Buachaille Etive Mhor, views down to the western end of the glen, viewa over the Rannoch Moor and on a good day as far as Schiehallion in Perthshire
In addition to Buachaille Etive Beag you can clearly see Bidean nam Biam and Stob Coire nan Lochan. In the centre of the photograph you can see the Lairig gartain pass and the River Coupal meandering its way towards Glen Etive and Loch Etive and eventually to the Atlantic Ocean. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
