This design features a painting by the 19th-century German Romantic artist Caspar David Friedrich (1774–1840). It shows a beautiful landscape in the countryside of Germany. There are green fields, trees and farm houses on the land. The sky is cloudy, maybe because there's recently been a storm, however, there is a large rainbow in front of the clouds. There is a man standing on a hillside in the foreground; he is appreciating the beauty of the rainbow. The original artwork was painted by Caspar David Friedrich in 1810.

I visited the Watts Gallery earlier this year which was one of our best family days out ever, what a talent Watts was and his wife come to that. The image is perfect for a romantic occasion though I made the mistake of thinking it was a greeting card when in fact it is a postcard - my mistake but easily happens.
Took a little while to print and to be sent from overseas I think. Good quality card and printing.

The artwork and paper quality are good BUT it is only a card and not a bi-fold blank card as I had expected. It was my mistake as I hadn't noticed when ordering. However I think that a single page card would be be very limiting to send to a 90 year old. The quality was excellent.
