This close-up architectural oil pastel of Lawson Tower in Scituate, Massachusetts provides a sunny, detailed view of the well-known local landmark. The artwork highlights the distinctive turrets and architectural detail accentuated by the late afternoon sunlight. The tower’s light wood shingled facade reflect the late summer sun. Lawson Tower’s unique medieval architecture was established in 1902 when local millionaire Thomas Lawson's wife grew tired of the ugly standpipe water tower. He arranged to have the tower rebuilt with shingles and castle-style turrets to create a more pleasant view from his nearby estate. The resulting structure has become a beloved historical landmark and field trip site for Scituate locals and visitors alike.

I love this mug, I designed it for myself (the only thing wrong is the pink color in the print: it's darker than the preview). The inside color is perfect and also the print has a high quality finissage. colors are a bit Darker, so my pink heart and logo aren't like the preview.
