Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper Thermal Tumbler

Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper Thermal Tumbler

Easy to customize thermal bottle, just add your name! The Last Supper Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan, Italy (1495-1498) by artist Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is a vintage Renaissance Era fine art religious portrait painting. This fresco is one of da Vinci's best known paintings measuring 15ft. x 29ft and covering an end wall of the dining hall at the monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy. It represents the scene of The Last Supper from the final days of Jesus as narrated in the Gospel of John 13:21, when Jesus announces that one of his Twelve Apostles would betray him. The Last Supper specifically portrays the reaction given by each apostle when Jesus said one of them would betray him. All twelve apostles have different reactions to the news, with various degrees of anger and shock. The painting contains several references to the number 3, which represents the Christian belief in the Holy Trinity. The Apostles are seated in groupings of three; there are three windows behind Jesus; and the shape of Jesus' figure resembles a triangle. There may have been other references that have since been lost as the painting deteriorated.

The tumbler was bought as a gift so can't say how efficient it will be as an item, but a good Grandad present. Pictures were originally from a mobile phone so the reproduced quality is very good
