Les Vampires: Lanterne-Citrouille ART PRINT cat
The first in my new series of paintings called "Les Vampires" (which is French for The Vampires) - a new line of paintings that feature vampire beauties inspired by French rococo and baroque themes and aesthetics. These will also be part of my upcoming Vampire tarot/oracle deck I've been commissioned to work on, being published next year. This first painting is called "Les Vampires: Lanterne-Citrouille" (which means "pumpkin lantern") she is simply lovely! And with the pumpkin of course there are subtle Halloween-ish overtones (added to with the inclusion of my black cat Azrael!). There are also some creepy details in the rococo sofa the two sit upon. I went with a lighter more rococo palette on this piece rather than the bold/jewel tones I normally would put on a vampire/halloween painting, and I think I rather like how it turned out. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
