Leslie Patricelli's baby bursts out in song! Although ready for bed in a diaper and bunny slippers, the baby sings (loudly) for all to hear. The family dog and cat do not appreciate the song, however. Doggie covers his ears while kitty's angry eyebrows and frown show how cranky he is, but the cute baby is smiling from ear to ear. This illustration from Patricelli's book "Fa La La" published by Candlewick Press is great for animal-loving toddlers.
