Light Brahma Rooster - Elegant Vintage Chicken Tile

A Light Brahma Rooster adapted from an antique engraving in the 1896 Book Profits in Poultry: Useful and Ornamental Breeds and their Profitable Management. The beautiful large Brahma breed with their profuse feathering can originally be traced to China although much of the breeds development took place in the U.S. in the late 19th century. This vintage image has been carefully digitally adapted from an antique book for poultry breeders. This version shows the Rooster facing right. We also have a matching version in our shop with the Rooster facing left.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
