London Anglo Saxon Map Deskmat

Unique large London poster depicting the original Roman London, Viking London and modern icons superimposed for topographical purpose. The map is unique in that it covers both old and new - with the lost rivers, the original Roman roads and references to most of the main areas of note. Each reference, is given the original old English name and the modern counterpart as well as a symbol to show how an area started. Most London areas have names synonymous with how it functioned originally - or what it did. This took 2.5 years to make over nearly 50 versions and is a very special piece of wall art, here transferred to a deskmat.
