Lord of Honey Crossbody Bag

A royal greeting from nature with a profound message. This artful bag features the hand-painted work 'Lord of Honey' by Swiss artist Eliane Mächler. At its center is not an ordinary insect, but a male bee – the drone – which is staged here as the true king in honor of the crown. The image breaks with the cliché that only the queen counts and reminds us that every part of the bee colony is vital to the bigger picture. The detailed motif fascinates with the contrast between the majestic bee fur, a glowing flower, and the mysterious, purple glow.

The tote bag is smashing! It feels very sturdy and well made. A great size, can fit all your bits and pieces and the handles are strong, but long enough to be able to sling over your shoulder. Perfect for out and about! Absolutely love it! Have to say, the print is excellent! I should know, I painted the original painting. I ordered the bag to see how well my painting translated into a bag and I am wowed! Some pics of my original painting and the bag next to it, fabulous print job!
