Madhubani is an ancient folk art practiced for centuries by women from a region in North India. The paintings are a creative expression of their experiences and everyday encounters. Rich in motifs and imagery, Madhubani is a painstaking art form. Each motif has its own significance and symbolism - for instance turtles symbolise prosperity, the lotus and bamboo signify feminine and masculine sexuality respectively, peacocks signify love and peace; parrots, fish, banana and betel leaves are auspicious and symbolise fertility and regeneration.

The quality of the product is very good and I am overall happy with it. The only issue I have is that the background colour, behind the logo, is a different colour to the preview I saw before I ordered. In the preview it looked black, however, on arrival it is more of a grey and a different colour to the back of the sleeve. This does not fully reflect our corporate colours. The sleeve is made of nice feeling material and seems very durable. I'm not sure how easy it'll be to clean, but the construction seems sound and the fabric is quick thick. I also like the double zipper. The printing is lovely and appears durable. The white on black contrast is nice, and the design very elegant.
