Madonna of the Magnificat Tshirt

This t-shirt is decorated with the image of the Italian Renaissance master Sandro Botticelli's (1444-1510) “Madonna of the Magnificat" (Italian: Madonna del Magnificat) executed in 1481. It is housed in the Uffizi, Florence. The Virgin Mary is being crowned by two angels. The baby Child Jesus is keeping in a hand the pomegranate, symbol of the Resurrection. It is believed that the painting actually portrays the family of Piero de' Medici, lord of Florence from 1464.

The item was heavier than I thought, which is a good thing. A lot of t-shirts these days are made from low quality thin cotton which don't last. This is much thicker cotton that should last much longer. The print was centred perfectly. It is a good size and the colours are nice and vibrant. Exactly as the image shows.
