Marble Sculpture at Bridge of Lions St. Augustine Magnet

This Florida Travel Magnet features the photo image of one of two gallant white marble lions that stand guard over the entrance to the Bridge of Lions which connects downtown "Old City" Saint Augustine with Anastasia Island. The large carrera marble lions are named “Firm” and “Faithful,” and were originally commissioned by Italian sculptor F. Romanelli in 1927, and later restored. The background features a stunning azure blue sky and numerous sailboats and watercraft anchored in Matanzas Bay, which is part of the Intracoastal Waterway.
