Marengo the White Horse (by James Ward) Metal Tree Decoration
This design features a painting by the English artist James Ward (1769–1859), who specialised in depicting animals. It depicts the famous war horse owned by Napoleon I of France. The animal was named after the Battle of Marengo, which took place in Northern Italy; the horse carried his rider safely through the dangers of that battle. The horse is depicted here in a barren landscape with a beautiful sunset in the distance, creating an atmospheric scene on the horizon. The original artwork was painted by James Ward in 1824.

The Charity Christmas Single for Autism and raise money for a new school bus was a great success (The now have their new bus) both CD and digital downloads were available (and still are raising money for this great cause) - the idea to produce a Christmas Tree Decoration in the form of the CD cover to present to the family who instigated it was a great success and will have pride of place on their tree for many years to come.
