In this scene, the friction with the Martian atmosphere is slowing the spacecraft's descent and heating its heat shield. The Curiosity rover and descent stage of the spacecraft are inside the aeroshell consisting of the backshell and heat shield.

The quality of the product is very good and I am overall happy with it. The only issue I have is that the background colour, behind the logo, is a different colour to the preview I saw before I ordered. In the preview it looked black, however, on arrival it is more of a grey and a different colour to the back of the sleeve. This does not fully reflect our corporate colours.
